Description
Selene Yachts has a very good reputation since 1998 with its classically lined, luxurious and strongly built full displacement trawlers. The Selene 49 is a further development of the Selene 48 that has the additional features of the Deep Hull. This provides extra headroom in the engine room up to approx. 1.60 meters. The Cruiser Stern, developed by Ted Hood together with the stabilizers, improves the sailing cababilities at stormy seas.
'Pilgrim' has a comfortable layout with two cabins in foreship, both having their own bathrooms. The owners cabin has a freestanding double bed and in the guest cabin is a bunk bed.
Since 2018 the galley of Pilgrim is equipped with a Siemens electric hob and oven. Also the fridge and freezer are from the same brand. In the cozy salon is a long corner sofa and on the other side of the table are two more chairs. In 2019, the pilot house was updated with new Garmin navigation screens and in 2021 new Garmin screens at the fly bridge helm installed. 'Pilgrim' has also installed wifi to make sure you have internet throughout the boat. On the colder days, 'Pilgrim' remains pleasant due to the Kabola central heating and on the warmer days the Cruisair system provides cooler air.
'Pilgrim' is equipped with a reliable Cummins 330 hp engine who sailed her on many oceans already. manoeuvring is easy with the 14 hp strong bow and stern thrusters.
Owner’s comments - "Pilgrim has proven to be the safe home many times in all kind of weathers. The trustworthy Cummins accentuate this feeling of safeness. You will always travel in comfort and style both at open sea as well in the protected archipelago waters. After a lot of love, upgrades, and improvements during the last few years she is more than ready to welcome onboard the new crew. Pilgrim is simply the true example of the concept – Voyaging under power, by Robert Beebs."
