Grand Banks 42 Classic 'Ancoris'

With 1560 construction numbers, the Grand Banks 42 is the most built model, and therefore one of the most successful Grand Banks designs. The displacement hull of the Grand Banks 42 CL Ancoris has a long keel and stabilizers, which give stability and comfort time to sail, even on the rougher waters.

Ancoris has a two huts layout with a Galley-up. One of the cabins can be found in the front of the ship and at the back of the ship is the large owner's cabin with the freestanding double bed.

Technically, the Ancoris has a number of sought-after options such as stabilizers, two Caterpillar 210 hp engines, hydraulic bow thruster and air conditioning throughout the ship. In 2020, the underwater hull was removed bare, then rebuilt and all window rubbers were also replaced. A year later, an Eberspächer was installed with five outflow openings.

Every winter the ship has been in a heated winter storage and every season has had the maintenance of the engines and generator. In theearly days of this year, the boat was polished, polished and the antifouling was reapplied.
