Grand Banks 47 Heritage EU 'Viva la Vida'

The Grand Banks 47 Heritage was designed to meet the needs of customers who love the style of Grand Banks, but want to have the ability to cruise at higher speeds. Grand Banks turned to well-known maritime architects Sparkman & Stephens for a design that would preserve the original's distinctive style. The big difference was made under water. A hull was developed that was better suited to the larger engines and higher cruising speeds on rough water.

The Viva la Vida therefore has two 455 HP Caterpillar engines that enable it to achieve a maximum speed of 24 knots. The ship still has its beautiful signature teak look inside with two cabins and four places to sleep.

Last year the ship has been equipped with a Kabola central heating system which ensures that it is comfortable on board also on colder days. Furthermore, a hekscrew has been mounted which can also be operated together with the bow trusther by a remote control.
