Grand Banks 41 Heritage EU 'Meeuw' with fuselage number 002 - with 2x 425 HP diesel engines linked to the Zeus pod system, the 41 Heritage EU can achieve a top speed of 24 knots.
Performance and technology are not the only highlights of the 'Meeuw' - the interior is equally impressive. Because pod drives require significantly less space than traditional propeller shaft drives, the saved space in the engine room can be found in the living spaces. This means that under the salon floor there is a spacious storage room suitable for washing machine, tools, freezer etc... This is not the only benefit of the pod drives; it reduces significantly less sound in your living space and on top of the flybridge.
The ZEUS system makes maneuvering very easy with the joystick and the later installed bow screw and waiting for a bridge or lock is with the Skyhook option No problem. At the touch of a button, the vessel remains stationary in place with the nose in the right direction.
